World Snooker Championship 2025: Schedule, order of play, results and latest scores

Kyren Wilson starts the defense of his 2024 World Snooker Championship against 21-year-old Lei Peifan; an immediately stern test for the defending champion.

Peifan won his first ranking title in December 2024 at the Scottish Open, and will be hoping to cause an upset in his World Championship debut.

Elsewhere in the first round, Ronnie O’Sullivan takes on Ali Carter in one of the ties of the round, and last year’s finalist Jak Jones faces Zhao Xintong.

Tournament favourite Judd Trump starts his World Championship campaign against Zhou Yuelong on Tuesday (April 22) night.

The Sporting News will be providing updates with the scores and following all the action.
