Man United star tells agent to secure sensational Chelsea transfer

After securing Champions League qualification for next season and clinching the UEFA Conference League, Chelsea are set for a busy transfer window.

Despite agreeing a move to Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, the Blues are in no mood to rest on their laurels and have now turned their attention to signing a right-footed attacker.

Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has long been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, and according to a report by The Sun, the winger has now told his agent to secure a sensational transfer to Chelsea.

The 20-year-old winger was told to find a new club by United manager Ruben Amorim following his comments after the UEFA Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Though Argentina star, who is also attracting interest from Napoli, instructed his agent to make clear to Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca he wants to remain in the Premier League.

A source said, “Alejandro knows the Premier League is the best in the world.”

“And while he has had some good moments at United, he wants to establish himself as a world star.”

“England is the best place to do that, and Chelsea have assembled a lot of good young players.”

The source said: “Garnacho seems to think he’s the next Ronaldo and this was his ‘exit interview’ moment, like he wanted to annoy people so much that there was no option but to sell him.

“It’s not gone down well with the rest of the players. There is a feeling that while he’s a good player, he’s not quite as good as he thinks he is.”
