One thing we know about the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson this season is that practice during the week is rarely a simple thing.
Ahead of the New England Patriots showdown on Wednesday, Lamar was a DNP due to illness, which could have led some fans to think that, depending on what it was, Jackson could be in doubt for Sunday night.
“Lamar had an illness,” Harbaugh said Wednesday. “He was kept home with a flu deal. The doc kept him home away from the guys. So that was what happened with that.”
Well, the illness couldn’t have been too bad because as the Ravens dropped their Thursday injury report, Lamar was on it, but as a full participant.
So that’s the end of that.

Ravens facing defining Week 16
Depending on what happens between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Lions, who play before Baltimore, the Ravens could be faced with a situation in which they can either move level with Pittsburgh at the top of the division or need a win just to keep pace.
The importance of this week can’t be overstated.
Yes, the Lions are favorites to beat the Steelers, and if that happens, the chance Baltimore has, at home on national television, to stamp its AFC credentials is one it can’t waste.
After a horror start to the season, there is a feeling that everything comes down to this week, and the AFC North will either get a whole lot harder or easier after Sunday night.
