Josh Allen weighs in on Bills' trade for DJ Moore

The Buffalo Bills didn’t waste much time this offseason in trying to help Josh Allen’s cause.

When they swung a trade with the Chicago Bears for wide receiver DJ Moore, it was clear they’d recognized a weakness out wide and wanted to fix it.

Whether Moore is enough remains to be seen. The Bills also drafted Skyler Bell out of UConn in the fourth round to help out.

But the reality is that Moore is an upgrade, for sure, and Allen knows it, too.

He was asked about Moore after OTAs on Tuesday and had a simple answer:

“He’s very fun to throw to.”

Moore has been a quality WR the past couple seasons for the Bears. He took a step back statistically in 2025 as both Rome Odunze and Luther Burden seized sizable roles for Chicago as younger players.

Despite that, Moore had big games and showed Caleb Williams could rely on him.

Williams and Allen aren’t the same QB, but they’ve got a lot of similar traits, and Moore is surely excited to work with Allen as part of a winning roster.

It’ll still be months until this partnership plays together in a game that matters, but every day between now and then is a chance for them to build chemistry and sett up for a big season ahead.
