As it turned out, Jalen Brunson’s time in the “Saturday Night Live” spotlight extended beyond just the star point guard.
Joining Brunson in a cameo during Saturday’s show was the rest of the Knicks‘ starting lineup, with Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby making an appearance, continuing the group’s media tour after hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
As Brunson took “questions” from his teammates in the crowd, it was Anunoby who particularly went viral.

OG Anunoby, Knicks go viral in Jalen Brunson’s ‘SNL’ appearance
During Brunson’s opening monologue, he said he wanted to open it up “to some audience questions,” with cameras cutting to the rest of the Knicks’ starters sitting in the crowd.
Towns went first, wearing sunglasses indoors and joking that he can’t foul out of the show. After Bridges showed off his wingspan, saying that he’ll “never fly,” Anunoby came next.
“Remember in Game 4 when you took that shot in the end and you missed it?” Anunoby asked Brunson with a straight face. “Remember what happened after?”
After getting a reminder from Brunson about his famous Game 4 tip-in game-winner, Anunoby said: “Oh yeah. That was awesome,” cracking a smile.
OG Anunoby: “Remember in Game 4 when you took that shot in the end and you missed it?”
Jalen Brunson: “Yeah”
OG: “Remember what happened after?”
Jalen: “Yeah. You tipped it in”
OG: “Oh yeah. That was awesome”
